Dortmund sweating ahead of crucial cup tie

Borussia Dortmund's preparations for their DFB Pokal clash with Heidenheim on Wednesday have been disrupted by injury concerns over Jude Bellingham and Youssoufa Moukoko.

Bellingham, who has been one of Dortmund's standout performers this season, missed training on Tuesday with a knock, while Moukoko is also a doubt after picking up a knock in training last week.

Dortmund coach Edin Terzic will be hoping to have both players available for the match, as they will be crucial to his team's chances of progressing to the next round.

Bellingham has been in particularly impressive form for Dortmund this season, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 18 appearances.

Moukoko, meanwhile, has also been in good form, scoring four goals in 11 appearances.

Dortmund will be hoping to avoid an upset against Heidenheim, who are currently top of the 2. Bundesliga.

The match will be played at the Voith-Arena in Heidenheim, and kick-off is scheduled for 8:45pm CET.
